I'm just about to change my domain name. I'm wondering what problems to
expect related to openssh. I want to change as little as possible (no new
keys, etc.)
So far, I've seen that I'll need to modify my system-wide
ssh_known_hosts[2] files and my users known_hosts[2] files (I'm planning
on providing them a simple shell script that basically runs something like
sed 's/olddomain.edu/newdomain.edu/g' and encouraging them to run it).
In the ssh_configs, I may have to change any of the Host
declarations. Again a little sed (like above) seems like it would
work.
In my experience, the user's keys are independant of the host on which
they were generated.
What (if anything) am I missing? Am I just being overly paranoid?
I can find no mention of this in the FAQ nor the list archives.
