R help - Jan 2011 - Free R Course Chile / Curso Gratis R (Universidad Andres Bello)

Queridos R-usuarios!

 

Con mis colegas estamos creando un curso básico de nuestra espectacular
herramienta R. Nos hemos dado cuenta que muchas personas usan software comercial
y pensamos que sería una buena oportunidad para dar un curso gratis acerca de R.
Por otro lado, puede ser una buena oportunidad para crear un grupo de usuarios
activos de R aquí en Chile.

 

Actualmente, estamos invitando a personas realmente interesadas relacionadas a
la investigación y las ciencias, principalmente investigadores de centros de
investigación.  

 

Las pasadas semanas, hemos obtenido un espacio en la Universidad Andrés Bello,
ubicada en Av.Republica 440, Santiago. Si conoces personas interesadas en
conocer
 acerca de R, por favor invítalos compartiendo esta información con ellos.

 

El curso de R básico se ha agendado en dos días, se confirmaran los días usando
la siguiente dirección Web. También, el programa de curso puedes revisarlo en la
siguiente dirección:

Tan rápido como podamos, crearemos una completa sección acerca del curso. Allí
tendremos  material gratis, videos, libros y códigos del programa y todo lo
necesario para un buen entendimiento de la programación R. También, entregaremos
certificados para aquellos que están buscando entrenamiento

 

Por otro lado, si tú eres un usuario avanzado de R y tienes ganas de contribuir
a este curso gratis. Por favor, siéntase libre de compartir  contribuyendo con
ideas, libros en pdf, R-links o cualquier material de enseñanza de R
 será extremadamente beneficioso.

Dear R-users!

 

I work in the Catholic University of Chile here in Santiago. Some of my
colleagues at the university, we’re creating a basic course about our terrific
tool R open for everyone. We have realized that so many people are using
copyright statistical software and we think this could be a good opportunity for
giving a free basic course about R. Thus, expand our group of people using it.
Also, could be a good opportunity for creating a group of active R-users here in
Chile.


Currently, we are inviting real interested people related to research and
science here. We
 have got room at Universidad Andres Bello. If you know people interested in
knowing about R, please invite them sharing this information.

As soon as we can, we will create a complete section about this course. There
will be free material, videos, books, code programs and all the needs for a good
understanding about R programming. Also, we will give certificates for those

contribute for this free R course, please feel free sharing with us ideas, pdf
books, R-links, or any material about R-teaching would be extremely helpful.
