zfs discuss - Dec 2009 - has a new prefetch implementation been putback ?

hi,
   i hear rumors that a read-prefetch implementation has been
putback to opensolaris/ON.  if so, which build is it available
in?  will it be putback to S10 ?

I am not sure if there is yet another update, but fixes for 
read-prefetch have already been available in OpenSolaris for several 
weeks now.  I also have a zfs IDR in hand for Solaris 10 U8 which is 
supposed to fix the read-prefetch problem that I had reported, but I 
have not had opportunity to test with it yet due to other issues. 
Presumably these fixes with be in Solaris 10 U9.

It would be useful if OpenSolaris users with latest updates could 
re-test with the test script I posted earlier to see if the prefetch 
performance issue is gone.  This test script is still available from
