zfs discuss - Jan 2009 - Adding Supermicro aoc-sat2-mv8 to existing system

Hi

I have a Solaris based home nas and wish to add the Supermicro aoc-sat2-mv8 8
port SATA card to add more disks to the existing zpool. Is it a case of
physically installing the card and using cfgmadm -al ?

Since you''re going to have to power down to install the card anyways,
I''d
just do a ''touch /reconfigure" when you shutdown.  On reboot it
should do a
reconfigure boot and pick up the card.
