I have a system running OpenSolaris 2008.05 upgraded to snv_90. Trying to boot after a hard power cut was failing with a panic. I booted off the latest 2008.11 livecd (snv 101 I believe) and managed to eventually import the pool, successfully scrub it, and export again. Since then however, attempting to boot results in the following error: NOTICE: zfs_parse_bootfs: error 2 panic[cpu0]/thread=fffffffffbc5aba0: cannot mount root path /pci at 0 ,0/pci8086,25e5 at 5/pci1028,1f0c at 0/sd at 0,0:a /pci at 0,0/pci8086,25e5 at 5 /pci1028,1f0c at 0/sd at 1,0:a fffffffffbc8c5d0 genunix:rootconf+122 () fffffffffbc8c620 genunix:vfs_mountroot+65 () fffffffffbc8c650 genunix:main+d8 () fffffffffbc8c660 unix:_locore_start+80 () I''ve found mentions online that the zpool cache might be out of sync, but even after rebuilding the boot archive using bootadm or trying to copy the cache created by import on the livecd to the pool or reinstalling grub, the same error keeps coming up. Note that the pool imports and exports just fine with all the files intact when using the livecd. I''d like to get the system running again and would greatly appreciate any help.
