One of our storage guys would like to put a thumper into service, but he''s looking for a smaller model to use for testing. Is there something that has the same CPU, disks, and disk controller as a thumper, but fewer disks? Well, what''s the end goal? What are you testing for that you need from the thumper? I/O interfaces? CPU? Chipset?
