* which IRC channel will be best for discussion of ZFS from a
   multi-platform or platform-agnostic viewpoint?

I imagine that <irc://irc.freenode.net/solaris> and
<irc://irc.freenode.net/opensolaris> may tire of questions
from the Mac communities in days/weeks to come...

#zfs though it looks like there aren''t many people on at the 
moment....and maybe someone had the same idea I did and just opened it.
