Ok, I just had an idea. I think I know what happened. I moved the dump device to an alternate device so that I could give my pool the whole disks. To do this, I removed the one half of the mirror and then re-attached it as a whole disk, and then did the same with the other half. I have this sneaking suspicion that i blew away my GRUB bits when I did this. ;) So, that being said.... What is the correct incantation of grub to install all the right bits to the right places on the disk? I''m booted from the CD, and the disk isn''t currently "mounted" (the pool is imported, but I can''t "see" it) so keep that in mind. I''d *really* like to not blow up my system doing this, so that''s why I''m asking here first. :) -brian -- "Perl can be fast and elegant as much as J2EE can be fast and elegant.
