Can you explain please or give me some internet links? Hmmm ... so you don''t know what they are? Then the simplest version is if you create the guests using some kind of frontend (e.g. virt-manager), then you''ll get unbuffered I/O. Now I understand the differences about file, tap and phy. In the past I always used virt-manager to create guests. Virt-manager creates an image. So I think it is tap-mode as default, wright? Thank you for your help!!!! It was really great! Now I know which keywords I have to use for my search and can study intensively this topic. ;-) Ihr WEB.DE Postfach immer dabei: die kostenlose WEB.DE Mail App für iPhone und Android. https://produkte.web.de/freemail_mobile_startseite/ _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
