I was thinking of building a new system for my small apartment. I''d like to setup something so 2 people could use the same hardware at once. What I would like to do is setup a computer with 2 video cards, 2 audio cards and with enough memory to make the OS''s happy. Could Xen be setup with 2 virtualized windows OS''s and could I use the VGA Pass through feature to direct the output of each Windows OS to it''s own card? Mike
I''d like to build a new PC with 2 video and sounds cards. Then I''d like to use Xen to virtualize 2 windows OS''s inside one Dom0 Linux OS? I''d like each windows OS to have it''s own VGA and sound-card output.

I don''t know if you can pass arbitrary video cards to domUs, I have only seen people using it for a single domU. Hope that helps. Mike

Re: Is this possible? Multi user Xen system with VGA output?
You can, in theory, set up a Xen system to pass through two different video cards to two different domUs. You''ll need to have the appropriate hardware (processor and motherboard), however, as this will require HVMs for the windows guests.
