I am using old Xen Rpms which comes with RHEL 5.5 . xen-3.0.3-105.el5. I am running Ubuntu 11.04 Full Virt on this. But after a gap of 2 or 3 days this VM gets shutdown automatically. I have checked the logs there is nothing suspicious.. What can be reason for it..?? Any one has faced same problem?? -- Thanks Vipul Borikar "Our task must be to free ourselves...by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty." _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Ok . Thanks for the Update... Can i try 5.7 Xen RPMS on 5.5 OS.. cause it will be tough for me to upgrade the OS 5.5 to 5.7. I don''t know all the depends. For the 5.7 xen dom0 kernel, you will have to install 5.7''s e4fsprogs and e4fsprogs-libs Xen is one more package that has no extra dependencies according to my knowledge. If you are under RHEL support, check back with them first. So you know if they''ll still support the config with newer kernel + Xen. Considering the many bugs they had in older versions, they probably will :) -- the purpose of libvirt is to provide an abstraction layer hiding all xen features added since 2006 until they were finally understood and copied by the kvm devs.
Thanks for the Guidance... I will check out for the 5.7 dependencies. I didn''t face that issue for some time now.. lets see Thanks again..
