[Xen-users] Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found.
Hi, After shutting down my VM, I can no longer boot. I get the following error: Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Any ideas on how I might fix this ? I have tried adding a line init="/sbin/init" in the config file, which does not help. Many thanks Avron _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Hm, maybe the "root filesystem" was not actually "root"? Is your "/" really formatted with ext2, or could it be that the "/boot" partition got mounted? I really dont know the answer to that, this was working , crashed and now no longer boots. Is it possible that /root got corrupt ? Christian, Sorry, I am not that familiar with xen and how it all works, could you give me instruction on how to do that ?
