Hello, I am trying to enable I/O virtualisation in Xen 3.4.2 on AMD 785G chipset with Athlon II X4 CPU. This chipset should support AMD IOMMU (AMD-Vi), but Xen says it isn''t found and I/O virtualisation is disabled. Have anyone more info if it is possible? -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/I-O-virtualisation-on-AMD-785G-chipset-tp27577569p27577569.html Sent from the Xen - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

It works fine, read carefully the log : (XEN) HVM: SVM enabled Regards, Olivier. On Mon, Feb 15, 2010 at 11:13 AM, francisco javier funes nieto <esencia@gmail.com> wrote:> Which mainboard Vendor? Yes SVM for HVM domains works well, but I am talking about AMD IOMMU: (XEN) AMD-Vi: IOMMU not found! (XEN) I/O virtualisation disabled -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/I-O-virtualisation-on-AMD-785G-chipset-tp27577569p27593511.html Sent from the Xen - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Ok, sorry for the mistake. So, after some googling : http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=135607.msg1018009 "Yes, I searched a few hours and found only some notices about 8xx series chipset. It seems, there isn''t support in 7xx series chipset." :/ Regards, Olivier.
