Hello, We have a few windows vps, and just found that the cpu clock speed is a bit faster than it should be, e.g. for a E3220 CPU, it shows 2.7GHz, actually it should be 2.4GHz is this a normal thing? Thanks. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: [Xen-users] incorrect cpu clock speed in windows vps
I see the same on windows hvms running on xen 3.4.2 with 2.5ghz xeons report 2.7ghz Cpu clock speed isn''t really relevent when it is a virtual machine as the guest does not "own" every physical cpu tick, but I see no reason why it should not be correct.
