Xen users - Nov 2009 - Creating additional loop devices

Does anyone off hand know how to create additional loop devices for Xen I am
using SLES11. Thanks in advance.

Hi Joe,

You can put max_loop=x in the line of your grub boot for your kernel.

eg.

module /vmlinux-2.6.18-xen ro root=xxxx max_loop=128

Should give you more loopback devices.

I did not know about the loopbacks without having to reboot, I''m sure
this will help others as it has also helped me!
