Hi Boris, how about trying to shut it down via its UUID? (you can find it by issuing xm list --long if I am right) Otherwise maybe you can try to find some stuck qemu process and kill it? 2009/10/20 Boris Quiroz <boris.quiroz@acepta.com>> Boris Quiroz wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> I''ve this problem[1] with a DomU. Also, there''s nos qemu process running... I think it could be a bug, but I''m not sure how to replicate it _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I highlighted his faulty line: http://pastebin.com/m1a38a71 Apparently, his domU is not running anymore, but still, it is hanging in memory. 2009/10/20 Kai Schaetzl <maillists@conactive.com>> Boris Quiroz wrote on Tue, 20 Oct 2009 09:25:42 -0300: > > > Sorry, I forgot include the link: http://pastebin.com/m59aabc05 > > How does this illustrate your problem? > > Kai > > -- > Kai Schätzl, Berlin, Germany > Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

However, ''undefine'' permanently removes the virsh-style config file, so use it with care. This isn''t a problem if you''re using old-style xm config files. -Evan _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

What if what Evan said (about virsh) doesn''t work? cloud:/etc/xen# virsh destroy almacen error: Failed to destroy domain almacen cloud:/etc/xen# virsh undefine almacen libvir: Xen Daemon error : POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err ''Domain is not halted.'') error: Failed to undefine domain almacen With this ''virsh undefine'' thing I think I can find something in the xend log... _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
