Any pointers to do Jaunty PV domU under CentOS/Redhat 5.3 Dom0? Thanks! Paras. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Used debootstrap and xenified debian kernel to successfully install the jaunty PV under CentOS 5.3 Dom0. But i don''t have the console access. When I create the domU using xm create ubuntu -c, I can see the boot process but not the login prompt. I have xvc0 under /etc/events.d and an entry in /etc/securetty. Why I can''t access the console? Thanks! Paras. Probably you need to change console to use hvc0 (instead of xvc0). Within DomU: add ''console=hvc0'' to your kernel boot line, modify /etc/inittab /etc/securetty to use hvc0 if they don''t do it already.
