Hello. I''m having a very unusual problem with Xen/OpenBSD 4.5. I am using Debian Lenny as my Dom0 and xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64 (which is what ships with Lenny). I installed OBSD 4.5, and so long as I set the nic to model=ne2k_pci and set apic to 0, it seemed to run great. I am following stable, so I recompiled the entire system (took about 18-20 hours), and not a single hiccup. I was very pleased. I was able to transfer large files via sftp, ftp and http without any problems. I setup my sendmail, and sent several dozen test messages with success, added tls, and began to build my email server. I got everything installed, up to and including horde, when I decided to test my email server again, this time I sent an attachment. The server locked up completely (OBSD domu). I did it again, and the same thing happened. I can find no complaints on any log, anywhere on the domu or on dom0. I even ran sendmail in the forground, and had mulitple terminals up monitoring the logfiles on the system. I fussed with this for days, trying to get a bead on this. This morning, I decided to install a completely new, pristine, out-of-the-box install of OBSD. Even with the default installation, I still got the same problem -- so it is definitely not my sendmail configuration. It only seems to affect sendmail: the messages queue in /var/spool/mqueue as they should, but about 1/2 second after that, the system freezes-up -- every time. It only affects messages with attachments. Short emails get through just fine. Anything over 1M seems to lock it up. Again, all other aspects of this system run great. It is just this one sendmail issue. Once I reboot the domu, it will lock up immediately. The only way to get it back up is to go in in single-user-mode, and delete the contents of /var/spool/mqueue -- then it comes up fine. Anyone have any ideas about what is going on here? I really appreciate the help. Thanks. Chris _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
