Hi Ola, There was some code done by IBM a few years ago in conjunction with a University that worked and showed the benefits but AFAIK it was never integrated into Xen. The research paper is around on the web. A few of us requested RDMA migration support for version 4.0 and it is at the top of the request list, I suspect it is probably a case of enough people asking and Citrix approving. http://www.xen.org/products/xen_roadmap.html Rob -----Original Message----- From: Ola.Torudbakken@Sun.COM [mailto:Ola.Torudbakken@Sun.COM] Sent: 09 September 2009 14:35 To: Robert Dunkley Subject: xen - rdma live migration support Hello, I´m a DE at Sun located at the European Design Center in Oslo, Norway, working on high-performance RDMA fabrics. What is the status of RDMA Live Migration support in Xen? From http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenRoadMap it appears that it is part of Xen4.0 release? When is that scheduled to be released, and, is there a working prototype available? If you want to make sure your $feature will be done, better start working on it ;) -- Pasi> > Rob > > -----Original Message----- > From: Ola.Torudbakken@Sun.COM [mailto:Ola.Torudbakken@Sun.COM] > Sent: 09 September 2009 14:35 > To: Robert Dunkley > Subject: xen - rdma live migration support > > Hello, > > I?m a DE at Sun located at the European Design Center in Oslo, Norway, > working on high-performance RDMA fabrics.
