Hi Alex, I think that you should try to kill some drunk butterflies around you first ;) and post your /home/xen/freebsd71/conf afterward. -- Thanks! Hi, that project which you mentioned is looks dead so I think you should forget about it... if you want to run FreeBSD in HVM domain you don''t need to prepare the modified kernel. 2009/8/3 Убийца пьяных бабочек <alex.faq8@gmail.com>:> dom0: Debian 5 Lenny 64bit, Xen 3.2-1 > domU: FreeBSD (any version) > ----- > Hello guys. Sure /home/alex/mdroot-7.0 exists. I do it with HVR, but have message Error: HVM guest support is unavailable: is VT/AMD-V supported by your CPU and enabled in your BIOS? 1. It is impossible to start FreeBSD without support AMD-V? 2. I can start Debian 5 on domu with original kernel (dom0 Debian 5 too), where I can find Debian-4-xen-kernel? 3 августа 2009 г. 16:28 пользователь Sergey Smirnov < sergey.a.smirnov@gmail.com> написал:> Hi, > > that project which you mentioned is looks dead so I think you should > forget about it... > if you want to run FreeBSD in HVM domain you don''t need to prepare the > modified kernel. > > 2009/8/3 Убийца пьяных бабочек <alex.faq8@gmail.com>: > > dom0: Debian 5 Lenny 64bit, Xen 3.2-1 > > domU: FreeBSD (any version) > > ----- > > Hello guys. Have you seen this part of the FreeBSD handbook? http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/virtualization-guest.html The Xen section should help. Sure I see it, but 1) fsmware.com is down about 1 mount. 2) I find this files, but Error: (11, ''Resource temporarily unavailable'') in starting xen. I think that problem in kernel-current<http://www.fsmware.com/xenofreebsd/7.0/download/kernel-current>- kernel for 32-bit architecture. Now I think that I can start FreeBSD on domU with HVM only, but my processor have no AMD-V support and dont wanna use 32-bit dom-0 OS on 64-bit processor. TY for wathcing my problem, if any have started FreeBSD in domU and have some time, my e-mail always can get your letter. 3 августа 2009 г. 21:55 пользователь Joshua West <jwest@brandeis.edu>написал:> Have you seen this part of the FreeBSD handbook? > > http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/virtualization-guest.html > > The Xen section should help. > > > Убийца пьяных бабочек wrote: > > dom0: Debian 5 Lenny 64bit, Xen 3.2-1 > > domU: FreeBSD (any version) > > ----- > > Hello guys. Butterfly_killer <alex.faq8@gmail.com> writes:> Sure I see it, but > 1) fsmware.com is down about 1 mount. You want to try the freebsd-xen list - read the archives, first: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-xen/ There has been some work done on paravirtualized freebsd as a xen guest lately, and I''m given to understand that it mostly works. It''s in the FreeBSD-current mainline sources now, too. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
