Hi all, I seems that this motherboard support VT-d support (http://communities.vmware.com/thread/204512 ), I''m currently wanting to buy one to install a multi purpose Computer (work / media ) in my home using Xen (I also would like to play with Xen to test IOMMU for other businness) Do you know if this motherboard has been already tested by the Xen community. If not, I will let you know ASAP since i will not buy the Asus P6T since the bios fix is still not released ... http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/VTdHowTo Regards, _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: [Xen-users] Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P IOMMU VT-d support
Hi All again, I had apply the patch suggested from an old mail ("nomsi option") I''m coming to what I was afraid : I have the message : (XEN) I/O virtualisation disabled Any idea how i can debug this to see if it''s related to DMAR not detected because of a BIOS issue ? Does this DMAR initialisation could not be made by generic code outside the bios ?
