Hi All, Is it possible to use xen 3.3.0 on Fedora 10? I am trying to install xen on fedora 10. But, I cannot able to do it. Is Xen supports Fedora 10... please clarify me. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Yes Xen does work in F10. The initrd does gave me some issues but I installed debootstrap and then used debian initrd. It worked fine. AFA the hypervisor is concerned it works fine. Dom0 also boots fine. All the best. So you need to install custom dom0 kernel to your F10. While you''re at it, you might also want to grab the latest Xen 3.3.1-11 src.rpm from Fedora 11 (rawhide) and compile/rebuild it for F10. -- Pasi _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Before rebuild:- # yum update rpm or better :- # yum update Boris. P.S. Pasi, I just misunderstood your suggestion previous time. F11 src rpm appears to be very flexible tool for back porting CSs from Xen 3.4 to Xen 3.3.1. In particular , i back ported ZFS support. Thank you once again. --- On Sun, 5/10/09, Pasi Kärkkäinen <pasik@iki.fi> wrote: From: Pasi Kärkkäinen <pasik@iki.fi> Subject: Re: [Xen-users] Xen - Fedora 10 ??
