Xen users - Mar 2009 - every "make world" for xen 3.3.1 on debian etch download the kernel from mercurial

every time that i launch "make world" the installation program  
download the entire kernel from mercurial

why?

looking to the sript i saw

linux-2.6.18-xen.hg." ; \
      hg -R linux-2.6.18-xen.hg pull ${__parent} ; \

that seems to be updated (pull) the kernel when it finds the kernel  
already downloaded and not to download again and again
