[Xen-users] Help. Xen service cannot start, and no log left
Hi, all: Xen cannot start after installation. When using command "# xend start" , the whole system becomes very slow and tardy to accept other commands. I use "top" to check resource, slow response, and find "xend" occupy more than 50% cpu. Frequent harddisk reading. Then "top" process is killed, and so does "xend" process. Nothing is left in "/var/log/xen/xend.log", this file''s size is 0. "xm list" command: *Error: Unable to connect to xend: No such file or directory. Is xend running?* xen version: xen-3.3.1 os: centOS 4.4 The installation follows official tutorial. Thanks for the help! I would suggest running a yum remove xen* followed by yum install xen* Reinstalling xen, followed by a reboot corrected my issues. I also noted that the lines in my grub.conf were rewritten correctly during the xen reinstall.
