Xen users - Jan 2009 - xend running under

I see that after installing a new system with xen, I see xend and xendomains
running but am still using the 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5PAE kernel. I''ve also
installed the xen kernel but have not had the chance to fire it up yet.

My question is, guessing I don''t get much xen capabilities unless I
fire up the xen kernel right?

Figured that but had to ask, just in case :). 

I''m trying to install CentOS/xen onto a machine that needs to have the
summit option enabled. I''ve posted about it in another thread.
