I think there are some outstanding issues with the GPLPV drivers in Windows 2008. I think one of the latest versions - maybe even the one that says "don''t use" - has some improvements for Win2k8. -Nick>>> Christoph Kaminski <mangel@gmx.de> 2008/12/27 06:27 >>>I cant use RDP... I use HVM with Win2k8 server 32bit. Dom0 32bit. Acces always via RDP. It worked well with GPLPV drivers 0.9.11/0.9.12preX and without drivers. So I think there is XEN issue, not driver. I use hand-compiled xen 3.3.1rc4. DomU memory=3800, 8 core processor. 2008/12/28 Nick Couchman <Nick.Couchman@seakr.com>> I think there are some outstanding issues with the GPLPV drivers in > Windows 2008. Does it definitely not happen without the drivers? I am using the same setup as you (except it''s the English version) and have no problems. Please tell me more about your Dom0 and xen versions and your domain config file. Both german edition. Both freeze totaly with the drivers andrdp. What version of Xen are you running? I just remembered that I had this problem under w2k3 + Xen 3.3.0 and it was a bug in Xen. I needed to set the cache line size explicitly via cupid to fix it... I''ll see if I can find what I did to fix it. Are you using AMD CPU''s?
