[Xen-users] Xen hypervisor running on a free Linux distribution
Hello All, We would like to establish a Xen hypervisor that will run on a free x86_64 Linux distribution. The main reason of seeking a free distribution is to avoid licensing cost. We would appreciate your advice on a stable configuration of free x86_64 Linux distribution and Xen version that were tested together and have being evaluated as suitable for production environments. Also links/references to relevant information would be appreciated. Thanks, Ido Levy _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Ido, good morning I work with CentOS and Xen together and ... work fine. About updates, 100% free and without cost. ;) Cheers On Wed, Dec 3, 2008 at 7:18 AM, Ido Levy <IDOL@il.ibm.com> wrote:> > Hello All, > > We would like to establish a Xen hypervisor that will run on a free x86_64 > Linux distribution. > The main reason of seeking a free distribution is to avoid licensing cost. > > We would appreciate your advice on a stable configuration of free x86_64 > Linux distribution and Xen version that were tested together > and have being evaluated as suitable for production environments. > > Also links/references to relevant information would be appreciated. > > Thanks, > > Ido Levy > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >-- ______________ Atenciosamente Waldirio msn: waldirio@gmail.com Site: www.waldirio.com.br Blog: blog.waldirio.com.br PGP: www.waldirio.com.br/public.html _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
