Hi> Can I create a shared folder between physical hosts and virtual machine? You can create a partition with some clusterable file system and then mount that to several domains (with some tricks). However it would probably be way easier to simple mount a network device Regards, Steffen _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Sure you could always use NFS or Samba... Hi all, Thank You all for your valuable suggestion. I didnt understand the purpose of smime.p7s. Also, will xen bus helpful for providing the functionality of a shared folder? Hi> I didnt understand the purpose of smime.p7s.This is only because I send all my mails signed. The mailing list server modified the content type and therefore you see the signature as attachment. Sorry.> Also, will xen bus helpful for providing the functionality of a sharedfolder? No. There is no such thing as a dedicated shared folder. Xen only gives your domains hardware access, and you can use that for: a) block devices, then you can have a clusterable filesystem shared. b) network interfaces, then you can mount a shared network folder. Something like this can be setup via NFS or several other means .. depending on the guests.
