Hi folks, Host - Debian Etch The host and guests are running and working without problem. Now I''m prepared to clone an existing VM (a headless base server) but can''t resolve how to do it by referring to; 2.5. Cloning an existing VM and 4.6. Preparing to clone a Linux VM of "Xenser-4.1.0-Guest.pdf". Please shed me some light how to proceed. TIA Besides I can''t find "xe" command on Host but "xm". Are they similar? TIA B.R. > Besides I can''t find "xe" command on Host but "xm". Are they similar?Looks like you are reading the manual for Citrix Xen Server, but you are using the open source xen from xen.org Based on your questions I would recommend you start at xen.org. There are links to the wiki, user manual, our running xen book, etc. Cheers, Todd -- Todd Deshane http://todddeshane.net check out our book: http://runningxen.com _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

If you are looking for a documentation in book format, take a look at the book that I am co-author of called Running Xen.> > What is the difference btw xensource package and Citric package? >Xen.org open source version of xen is completely free and open source and supported by the Xen community. Citrix Xen Server has a few different versions, all based on Xen, but all with closed source additions on top, There is an express version which is free in cost, so you can try it out. Citrix Xen server is supported by Citrix. Generally this list is for support on the open source Xen, from xen.org. There are Citrix Xen Server forums http://forums.citrix.com/category.jspa?categoryID=101 And you can also purchase commercial support from Citrix.
