Hi, all Now I''m trying to install a module in xenU, however, I''ve no idea about how to "go inside" xenU. Each time we start the computer and choose "xen" in grub list, we are going into Xen0, so how can I install a module in XenU ? Thanks, -- Fangfei Zhou ---------------------------------------------------- I have a dream, fly to the sky _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Hi, Im assuming that you have a DomU runnning. If thats the case simply ssh to the DomU VM. You can then install whatever you need on its filesystem. -D On Mon, Jul 28, 2008 at 5:29 PM, you_bear zhou <youbear.zhou@gmail.com>wrote:> Hi, all > > Now I''m trying to install a module in xenU, however, I''ve no idea about how > to "go inside" xenU. thanks for your reply but I think the module is supported by kernel XenU, not the kernel of the VM, since it''s compiled using kernel XenU...if I install it in VM, is it still supported by kernel XenU?
