[Xen-users] performance differences between tap:aio and LVM?
I''m helping a friend setup some Xen instances and he''s wanting to use LVM for his MySQL based domUs and I would like to use tap:aio instead. His concern is performance.. Is there any documentation out there that documents the rough performance penalty of using tap:aio? My search on the intertubes yielded nothing concrete on this topic. thanks! -- <admiral> _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I''m starting to gather testing information to benchmark Xen and other VMs in various situations. LVM vs files is on the list. It probably won''t be until September before I finish and publish the results though - sorry.
