[Xen-users] QEMU monitor in Xen HVM domainU
Hi,
I''m trying to access the QEMU monitor in a Xen HVM based domainU. I am
running CentOS 5.1 (2.6.18-53.1.14.el5xen) with Xen 3.0.3. My config file reads
as follows:
import os, re
arch = os.uname()[4]
if re.search(''64'', arch):
arch_libdir = ''lib64''
else:
arch_libdir = ''lib''
kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
builder=''hvm''
memory = 1024
shadow_memory = 8
name = "xenwin"
vif = [ ''type=ioemu, bridge=xenbr0'' ]
acpi = 1
apic = 1
disk = [ ''file:/home/xen/xenwin.img,hda,w'',
''file:/home/xen/windows.iso,hdc:cdrom,r'' ]
device_model = ''/usr/'' + arch_libdir +
''/xen/bin/qemu-dm''
boot="cd"
sdl=1
vnc=0
monitor=1
serial=''pty''
usbdevice=''tablet''The guest boots up just fine (I have tried
both WinXP and Windows Server 2008) but pressing Ctrl+Alt+2 does not switch the
SDL display to the QEMU monitor as I had expected. Are there any additional
steps I need to take to enable this functionaility? I''m sure I have
missed something so any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Neal
