Hi all any inputs on the following :> > > > is it possible to install virt-manager<http://virt-manager.et.redhat.com/> > on windows system and manage all xen machines and guest system from there ? > > thanks >basically i want to manage all virtual machine from a remote system like windows etc using a tool similar to vir-manager. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Hello, I do think you will find this to be a problem unless you go for the commercial software. I suggest (and currently use) the simple method of controlling it from the command line and using VNC to "preview" the VM. SSH to your box from a windows machine and brush up on the "xm" commands my friend. Xming is very simple to use and would integrate well with your existing Windows desktop. It''d be good for admin stuff other than virt-manager too ;-) Cheers, Mark -- Push Me Pull You - Distributed SCM tool (http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~maw48/pmpu/) _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
