Hello, i´ve tried to boot Kernel 2.6.23-1-xen-686 with Xen on a VT unsupported Server. I get the kernel panic message "Domain 0 requires an unsupported hypervisor feature". What can i do? kind regards Rene Lehmann _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Are you trying to use this as dom0 or domU kernel? Best regards, Christian Power-Netz (R. The problem shouldn''t be the lack of VT as this is not used to run dom0. Where did you get your kernel and Xen images from? Maybe one wants a newer or incompatible feature. Is there anything before that in the boot output that might indicate what feature this is? For instance, something in the FEATURES or PAE_MODE output from elf_xen_parse_note? Is it possible that either the hypervisor or the kernel is built for PAE mode whilst the other is not?
