Can anyone confirm that Xen 3.1.2 (and/or 3.1.1) works under Windows SMP with acpi=1 and apic=1? My DomU boots up, but when or shortly after an RDP login shows the desktop, the DomU locks up hard. The mouse won''t even move in the VNC session... With vcpu''s = 1 everything works great! I haven''t tried rdp yet, only vnc & sdl. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I haven''t tried rdp yet, only vnc & sdl.Hmmm... I''m using AMD. An ''xm list'' following by another ''xm list'' 10 seconds later shows almost exactly 20 seconds of cpu time used by the domain after it has crashed, so it does appear that both cpus are just running flat out... I had ''Debugview'' from ''Sysinternals'' in my Programs->Startup folder, so it was being started when I logged in. Something about starting this at the same time as logging in appears to cause bad things to happen. If I take it out of startup, I don''t get any crashes. If I wait a few seconds after the login appears to be complete it appears to be okay... I''m running 4.72 of DebugView, but 4.74 appears to have been released... maybe I''ll give that a go... In which case it sounds like some kind of gross Xen problem lurking somewhere :-( Might be worth reporting to xen-devel although who knows if anyone will be able to reproduce it...! Cheers, Mark -- Dave: Just a question. What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels. Mark: My wheel has a wheel! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I''ll do that. Thanks. James _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

They haven''t released a changelog for it, but I guess the bug has been fixed.
