Xen users - Dec 2007 - xmexample.hvm and xmexample.vti

Chaps,

what''s  the diff between xmexample.hvm and xmexample.vti? Is one
file for a single domU and the other used for configuring a group of
domains?

>From configuration contents, they do not have many difference. 
xmexample.hvm is for HVM domain, such as i386 or x86_64 arch.
xmexample.vti is for VTI domain example, which is special IA64 arch.
