[Xen-users] VM won''t start

Hello,

I hope someone can help me out here - I am starting to pull my hair out 
now :-/

I have created a new VM, based on Debian Etch 4.0 but it wont start up. 
When I click start, the console tab flashes like it is about to show me 
something and then returns to "This VM is currently shut down. Click 
here to start it.".

Current present patches on 
www.citrixxenserver.com/Support/Pages/Hotfixes.aspx is installed.

In /var/log/messages on the Xen server is says the following when I

Anyone got an idea what might cause this? And eventually howto fix it?

This list is mainly for the open source version of Xen.  You''re welcome
to ask
questions about Citrix/XenSource products here but it''s likely that
people
won''t know much about the commercial codebase.  You may be better off
asking
questions at http://forums.xensource.com, which is dedicated to the 
commercial products.

FWIW the domain is crashing immediately for some reason, which is often a 
simple configuration fix.  I''m not personally familiar with the product
but
hopefully the forums will get you sorted out soon.

Was told to use the mailing lists, since the forum only is for paying 
users and since I use express edition, I ain''t paying for a license...

Really?  I wasn''t aware of that.  A quick search of the forum revealed
various
other posts about XenExpress.  I would have thought the forums were open to 
anyone who wanted to post.

Did you actually try asking the question on the forums?  If so could you 
please send me a link to that.

The problem is likely to be relatively simple, to be honest.  I do development 
on the Open Source version of Xen and may well be able to help you figure 
something out if we work together.  I suggested using the forums in the hope 
that less "working things out" would be required if you asked the
experts, so
to speak.

Anyhow, come back here if you''ve no luck on the forums...
