[Xen-users] Understanding XEN Network-Nat configuration
Hi @all, if have configured my XEN-Virtualizations next to this tutorial: http://www.howtoforge.com/debian_etch_xen_3.1_p4 and it works fine. But i don''t understand how the nat networking really work. On the domU''s I configured the interfaces with a gateway (10.0.0.254), but in the hole virtual network (10.0.0.0/8), there is no interface with this ip. when i changed the gateway IP to any other IP it works too. if there is no gateway defined, it doesn''t work. can somebody explain me how this works? Under the dom0 domain, i have two interfaces vif1.0 and vif2.0 with the ip''s 10.0.0.128 and 10.0.0.129. can i change this ip''s? or allocate them a static ip? greets Klaus _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
