I got xen 3.1 working but debian xen 3.0.3.1 shows this error: server1:~# xm info Error: Unable to connect to xend: No such file or directory. Is xend running? Do you know why? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Hi Frank, Verify if xen is running # ps fax | grep xend if the process is not running # /etc/init.d/xend start If the problem persist try to post more info, take a look to log files. You say you''re using 3.1 and 3.0.3.1; installing multiple different versions of Xen can be a bit hairy, since the Xend and Xen versions have to be matched. Are you sure that the correct Xen / Xend pair are running? A common cause of this error is when folks forget to reboot into a Xenified kernel - I take it you''ve done this? ;-) Cheers,Mark -- Dave: Just a question. What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels. Mark: My wheel has a wheel! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
