Hi. I installed Xen from source on my amd64 Debian system, but I don''t have the hvmloader required to create a Windows domU. How I can compile and install it? What is missing? Thank you very much! Bye. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Try installing the bin86 and bcc packages, then rebuild xen from sources. -w- shacky wrote:> Hi. > I installed Xen from source on my amd64 Debian system, but I don''t > have the hvmloader required to create a Windows domU. > How I can compile and install it? > What is missing? > > Thank you very much! > Bye. > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

To install Windows on Xen is necessary a Windows Manager like KDE or Gnome? I wish not to have a graphic interface on my server... _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

After your Windows install is done, you can use RDP to use it. You do need some X.org libraries though.Ok, I started the Windows XenU booting an .iso for the Windows installation, and the VM is active in "xm list". But I don''t understand how to reach the graphical interface to start the Windows installation. Could you help me, please? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
