Hi, i got issue with xm top. 32bit gentoo install Xen 3.04, only PV guest being used. Uptime more than 60 days - no problem so far. Today I realized that xm top doesnt work. When typed this command screen simply black out and thats all - its not possible to end it with q even not with ctrl-c. Its not possible to go back to bash after xm top was executed. Same situation when connected via putty, ssh, screen. Other commands like xm dmesg , xm uptime, xm list works without problem. There are no isuess in logs. There is easy try - reboot whole server but its problematic because there vip clients there... I need to find reason of this issue while server stays online. Any idea will be greatly appreciated. I''m pretty sure that "xm top" is just a wrapper for "xentop" but it is worth a try. Peter Braun wrote:> No one experienced with this issue? >I''ve seen it when a domU crashed using xend in an odd state. Things like xm list didn''t work either, nor did xm stop (so I couldn''t shut the domains down cleanly). Had to hit the power switch to restore order eventually. What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels.
