[Xen-users] Help once more, cannot start my virtual machine anymore
Hi list, We have XenEnterprise installed, and have some4 virtual machines running on it. One of the machines (Samba, NOmachine etc) crashed this morning. I couldn''t restart it, so I tried Force Reboot. After that it started, however, it gave the following messages: --- depmod: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. (This message is repeated a number of times) Check root= bootarg cat /proc/cmdline or missing modules, devices: cat /proc/modules ls /dev ALERT! /dev/sda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell BusyBox v1.00-pre10 (Debian 20040623-1) Built-in-shell (ash) Enter ''help'' for a list of built-in commands /bin/sh: can''t access tty; job control turned off (initramfs) --- So it seems that it doesn''t connect to a disk, and consequently cannot find the required modules. Now question is off course how can this happen, and next how can I repair this????
