hi friends, I have a question about my Xen 3.1.0, which cannot active eth0 in Dom0. my PC is : CPU : Intel e6320 Mainboard: Giga 965P-DS3 CDROM : Samsung DVD RW NIC: Marvell 88E8056 I use CentOS-5 as my native Linux enviroment. CentOS-5 identify my hardware as following: CPU : Intel e6320 CDROM : TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H6520 NIC: Marvell Tech. Group unknown Device 4365 I use Xen 3.1.0 and linux-2.6.18.tar.bz2 as new kernel source. After boot Dom0, dmesg have ethernet information as following: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Driver - version 7.1.9-k4 Copyright(c) 1999-2006 Intel Corporation pcnet32.c:v1.32 18 Mar.2006 tsbogend@alpha.franken.de e100: Intel(R) PRO/100 Network Driver, 3.5.10-k2-NAPI e100: Copyright(c) 1999-2005 Intel Corporation And in Gnome''s system->network control tool, it has a inactive eth0. But when I try to active it, system reports Error for wireless request "Set Encode"(8B2A) Set failer on device eth0; Invalid argument. SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device I think 8B2A is a WEP error, but I do not have selected any wireless options when I builded kernel. What is the matter? Moreover, Dom0 cannot identify my USB and cdrom. Why? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
