[Xen-users] What governs the type of hvm created? 32/32p/64?
I''m sure i''ve seen the answer to this but can''t remember or find it. What governs the type of hvm that gets created? I''m using a 64 bit dom0 and hypervisor on an amd system... is it simply that the operating system that boots is either 32, 32pae, or 64 bits? Or is there some configuration parameter that sets that? However, note that there are some settings in the config file that may prevent the mode from being reached (e.g. if you disable PAE, then the guest can not run in 32p or 64-bit [as 64-bit is an extension to PAE]). -- Mats> > Thanks > > James > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users > > >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
