Xen users - May 2007 - winXP installer hangs at "Setup is Starting Windows" Screen

Hi,
i still want to install Windows XP in domU on a ubuntu-feisty dom0. Now the
Windows installer hangs at the "Setup is Starting Windows" Screen. The
option suggested in this post
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-06/msg00452.html does
not work for me, because after after pressing F5 i can only select: Standard PC
with C-Step i486. Is there a way to fix this?

Roland,

I see below that you have 2GB total.

How much RAM is allocated for the domU?
I think at least 384MB is needed.
Have you reserved at least 756 MB for the dom0?
  dom0_mem=756000   # passed to xen kernel
Have you imported a sparse file image intended as a home filesys for XP?

Hi,
i am using a sparse file image as filesystem for domU. 512MB Ram are allocated
for domU, dom0-min-mem is set to 256.
