-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 hi list. I''m considering about xen enterprise or xen server. but I don''t planning to reinstall xen on my servers. virtual network and block drivers for windows (2003 enterprise edition) - it''s all I need at this moment. so, if I''ll buy xen enterprise or server subscription, can I just install those drivers to my windows guests? or it''s possible to buy this drivers only? thanks. alexander -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGOHbV4DJ/LCkjclMRAkSPAJ47h47OItSDP9C3uHDlyQNFIpIcngCg4XRx n5Qk1mLI11f89Ealuxq+WYE=D2Gw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

As to what you need to buy and such, you''ll have to ask the XenEnterprise people - this mailing list is mainly for the open-source version of Xen, which doesn''t have any Windows PV drivers. -- Mats> > alexander_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I did googling around (as your advice in reply to Igor Chubin). looks like PV drivers can work only with closedsource editions of xen (express, server, enterprise). anybody, who interesting, check this: http://dev.osso.nl/herman/blog/2007/01/27/playing-around-with-xen-express/ and this: http://dev.osso.nl/herman/blog/2006/12/23/windows-pv-drivers/ alexander -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGOKYg4DJ/LCkjclMRAqDBAKCMH7vxAtIOJbHE+GaPB1NXqyBAPACguolP Vl6lckK01NKMKxGxwjNT2eM=nXUh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

One could go the additional step and install our Dom0 agent, but by then you might as well benefit from our scriptable CLI and management tools.
