Xen users - Apr 2007 - Xen 3.0.4/HVM/W2k: Black/white bars instead of text with vnc

Hi,

I''m trying to install Windows 2000 Server as a Xen 3.0.4 guest. As soon
as the Windows installer switches from the text to the graphics mode I
see black or white bars instead of text in my VNC viewer -- which makes
installation nearly impossible because I cannot read what the installer
asks me to enter. I haved tested a Linux and a Windows VNC viewer.

The installation of Windows XP succeeded without this problem. Do you
know how I can work around this problem?

Hmm, I don#t know exactly where I had this problem, but I think I also
had strangte behaviour with some installer after a switch in the
graphics mode. you might try to simply dis- and then reconnect to the
vnc session.

I already tried this but it does not work.
