I had that problem on slackware, in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp to fix it i changed this line (network-script network-bridge) to (network-script ''network-bridge netdev=eth0'') No idea if this helps. So if you do not start any domU, dom0 remains unresponsive network-wise, correct? What if start dom0, _not_ starting any domU, and from dom0 you ping a known host? Does dom0''s network start to work after that? Does dom0''s network start to work after that?1/ boot normally dom0 without /etc/init.d/xend start (in /etc/rc2.d) network ping OK 2/ in dom0 /etc/init.d/xend start = network don''t ping from dom0 3/ launching domU and connect to this domU = network ping from domU 4/ in dom0 /etc/init.d/xend stop = network don''t ping from dom0 Franck> > Em Ter 06 Mar 2007 13:56, Franck escreveu: >> hi all, >> >> i''ve a little network problem on dom0 >> >> I''ve read this >> (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/XenVirtualMachine/XenOnUbuntuEdgy) >> for >> installeing xen on edgy. >> >> dom0 : 192.168.0.62 >> domU : 192.168.0.61 >> >> I can ping the gateway 192.168.0.1 before xend is starting >> I''m launching xend, all work fine : xenbr0, peth0, vif0.0 >> But on dom0, i cant''t ping gateway :( >> >> i''m launching domU (192.168.0.61), i''m logging on it and i can ping >> gateway and i can surf !!! >> >> Is anyone has an idea ? >> >> Franck > > -- > Daniel Mealha Cabrita > Divisao de Suporte Tecnico > AINFO / Reitoria / UTFPR > http://www.utfpr.edu.br >-- http://www.linuxpourtous.com _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
