[Xen-users] Xend has probably crashed! Invalid or missing HTTP status code.
I have Xen3 installed on Ubuntu 6.10 server, $ sudo xm list Name ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State Time(s) Domain-0 0 250 8 r----- 748.2 but whenever i try to create a new domain with anything listed for kernel at all, i get this: $ sudo xm create domu1 Using config file "domu1". Xend has probably crashed! Invalid or missing HTTP status code. this is the config i am trying to use: $ sudo xm create domu1 -n Using config file "domu1". (vm (name domu1) (memory 512) (vcpus 1) (image (linux (kernel /etc/xen/fdsfsdf) (root ''/dev/sda6 ro'') (args 4))) (device (vbd (uname phy:sda6) (dev sda1) (mode w))) (device (vbd (uname phy:/dev/sda7) (dev sda2) (mode w))) (device (vif (bridge xenbr1))) ) I''m probably dont have it set up right since this is the first time i am doing this, but i am trying to use the actual partition sda6 as the primary partition for the new domain and sda7 as the swap partition, but even if i make a completely blank config file and add anything for kernel, it gives that same error, i''m not sure how to proceed btw I did debootstrap from the ubuntu server cd to sda6, if that matters any, and heres the actual config file: -*- mode: python; -*- #===========================================================================# Python configuration setup for ''xm create''. # This script sets the parameters used when a domain is created using ''xm create''. # You use a separate script for each domain you want to create, or # you can set the parameters for the domain on the xm command line. #=========================================================================== #---------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Kernel image file. kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16-xen" # Optional ramdisk. #ramdisk = "/boot/initrd.gz" # The domain build function.
