[Xen-users] Error booting Gentoo kernel on CentOS host
Hi Everyone, I have successfully got a CentOS 4.4 (64bit) host running the Xen kernel booting domain0. One of our developers has supplied us with a DomU image which was run under Gentoo Linux and I can''t seem to boot it. It gets stuck on starting local and then if I shut it down and start again it complains about having corrupted the file system. Any ideas, experiences will be welcome. Thanks. -- "I never look back darling, it distracts from the now", Edna Mode (The Incredibles) _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

(I assume local under gentoo is still one of the last services to start...) You might explore the image filesystem - there may be specific pieces for that image when on hardware that don''t apply when on Xen... jerry -- "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!" _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
